British Airways Travel Shops (BATS), London
Design Studio Manager
- Brought in to set up a design studio for BATS.
- Primary objective was to bring BATS in line with British Airways corporate identity.
- Duties subsequently included general management and control of design and print.
- Initial brief through to completion.
This involved working with budgets, deciding the best and most economical
ways of producing final creative.
- Original concepts, copywrting, design,
layout, sourcing of photography, print buying, through to film and
cromalin proofs. As well as book-keeping and all the admin involved
in running a successful studio.
- Work included point of sale for 23 shops, including leaflets, posters, direct mail, stationary and re-design of website.
